A minimally invasive, transcatheter procedure

Femoral venous accessTranscatheter, through a vein
Familiar pathwayRight heart catheterization technique
Deployment in both pulmonary arteriesOne implant in the left branch, one in the right
Implantation, from femoral venous access to deployment in both pulmonary arteries.

Staged release from the delivery catheter.

What the implant does

Controlled banding of both pulmonary arteries

The implants apply controlled banding to the left and right pulmonary arteries and are designed to lower pressure in the distal pulmonary circulation during exertion.

Mechanism of action for clinicians
Before and after implantation. The gauges show pressure in the distal pulmonary circulation, downstream of the implants.
